You're right, it's not all that bad at all. Totally doable. Thanks for posting up the pictures and keep us updated on your progress

    Sadly now demodded :(

Are you aware that only 6,103 69 Nova's with the 4 cylinder engine were built out of a total of ~250,000 cars produced?

For that matter you may have one of the only ones left with this engine still in it. Only problem is that they are neither desirable nor collectable. Too bad IMHO because they represent the last of a dying breed as the ChevyII/Nova was originally an economy car.

    Just an FYI...

    Oh well!

I thought I saw 6 wires in that photo also but deferred to the OP...

They did make 4 cylinder Nova's in 69 though.

Ha ha! I just noticed I said three instead of six

Apparently I can't type without my new glasses either

(I'm still in denial that I now need them )

Well I'll eat my hat on this one I just lightened the picture and that IS indeed a 4cyl. I looked @ the distributor cap after I brightened the photo and there are only 5 wires 4plug and 1 coil.. The valve covers (after a little research) are stamped they're relatively the same with one just a little longer than the other.. Good call 67CamaroRSSS!!!

Looks like I better go get my glasses too Dena!

Stripped the interior between last night and just now. The A-pillars and B-pillars are trash. The headliner is no good. The dash is no good. The sun visors and rear view mirror are in good shape and will be salvaged.

I need a better shop vac. The mini one that I have just isn't cutting it. Once I get it, I'll vacuum the carpet and take it out. The carpet maybe salvagable, but we'll see.

Notice the extension for the radiator? It's there to get the radiator close enought to the fan to work. The I6 and V8 radiator attaches to the core support itself.

To be honest with you I've been playing with Camaro's and Nova's since 1973 and I don't think I've ever seen a 3rd gen (68- up) with a 4 banger.

OP: Is it a PG or a 3 speed stick?

I got my classic performance parts catalog today ... There's some really nice stuff in there.

Very cool. Subscribed to see the progress. I noticed the setback on the radiator also -- never saw anything like that before.
