My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
4th gen interior into a 2nd gen?
Is it possible to put the interior [and engine] into a 73 SD t/a? any idea on the kind of modifications that would require?
thanks!

I've seen a '70-'73 Camaro with a 4th gen interior, so it can be done, just not sure what it would take

i hope you plan on brushing up on your mechanic skills, esp with a big block, you most likely will be in the garage a LOT tinkeing with it and when things break, just old cars for you, something is always wrong no matter if it is restored

Nonsense,,,,I drive one everyday, and I trust it more than my 02 SS camaro. Sad but true, there is so little to go wrong with the old stuff and they are so simple to work on it just makes more sense to drive daily for me. If it dies it's either fuel or spark,,,it doesn't get any simpler to diagnose.
Most of the time it can be fixed on the roadside.
The 02 camaro? Forget it. It dies you may as well call a record. Diagnostics? I have well over $2,000 invested in laptops, software, scanners. Don't understand why things need to be more complicated, keep it simple. I love the old stuff.

That's what I was planning on doing to my 74 camaro. Awhile back I read a post on here that had pics of a guy that was doing the same thing to his camaro. I'm not sure who it was.

BLACK- 2000 Trans Am
yes it is possible, you will need to discard the cover that leads from windshield to dash, it will bolt directly to the car with approx a .75in diff on both sides the heater core assembly can also be swapped in with minor mods. engine will require mods to the stock k-member, i would fab in a bmr tube k-member here is a link for a 71 fire bird i am also doing roughly the same thing with a 71 http://www.extremefirebird.com/Home.html
