1958 Chevy Apache with 2004 LS1

Here are some pictures of my 58 Chev short box. I've had this for over 20 years and this is the year it will be drivable and next year all new body work. I am presently building the box with a;ll aluminum insert which is tubbed. I will post more pics soon as the build continues.

Nice truck! Someday I'd like to have something like this... sure would beat driving my POS Ford Ranger.

When I was growing up, there was this guy down the street that had a maroon 57 Chevy step side with a wrap around rear window. I loved that truck and always wanted one.

Are you going to re-chrome the bumpers, headlight bezel's etc? Or, keep them painted? Do you have the front hood and side emblems?

I will definitely check back to see your progress

Just put motor and tranny in last night, shut it down at 3am. Will cont Sun. computer is being reflashed and should arrive this comming week. I will up date with more details and pics.
