If I port z06 heads would I get the same power compared to new eddlebrock heads?

Do you mean port them yourself, or have a pro do them? Unless you have some experience porting heads, and/or the time to do your own R&D on a junk LSx head with a flowbench, I'd leave it to the pro's. Check what they have to offer and compare low and mid lift flow numbers between those and the Edelbrocks to get an idea of the driveability and responsiveness you'd get, in addition to the HP you can expect from the peak numbers. Check all the numbers and see what works for you.
Good luck!Hammer - hammertime.us

Well, power output is just a function of airflow then. If you select someone whose work is proven to flow comparable to an Edelbrock head, then you'll get the desired result.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
A good ported LS6 head is badass.
Not sure of the flow numbers on the Edelbrock heads, but a good LS6 ported head flows VERY well.2008 Trailblazer SS
