I have an Eagle 4" crank, had to clear where the con rod bolts came through. You didn't have that issue?

My guess is around 540rwhp N/A and major pants-soiling on the squeeze... What heads are you going to use? Darts? AFRs?

I know what the issue is with my setup. It is the connecting rod bolts. You see how your rod bolts heads are short? They might be a quarter of an inch in height, the ones on my rods are about 3/8th's of an inch high. I need to get different rod bolts (I was told they are ARP bolts but in fact they are not).

Thank you for posting up that pic for me, now I know for certain that I got screwed on those bolts.

My clearance issue was the stock LS1 windage tray.

Did you space it out with some washers? That seems to be the fix.

    Yeah, I did.
I don't think the word 'problem' was really the right word. It was the only clearance issue I had.

But...I didn't want to use just an average washer. I think I got some ARP washers actually. Too much hot oil in there to have just an average Home Depot washer on it.

We do a lot of 427 engines but they do cost a bunch. If you are on a budget, stay with the smaller strokers.

Not everyday but we can do them. The piston starts getting pretty short on them. If it is going to be a blown engine, I would not recommend it unless we went with a taller deck block.
