Where to get 5.3 Liter forged pistons

I have been looking but cant find them anywhere. any help appreciated

Because no one makes them as an off the shelf piston. They have to be Special orderd for the 4.8L/5.3L bore size.

Not that many people make them because there is no need to for one reason. The 5.3 is called the poor mans 5.7 because they were made with thick liners that easily can be bored to the stock ls1 size pistons. When you have your block apart to build it just simply spend a few more dollars and have your machinist bore out to stock ls1 size and you will have a more powerful engine and have a plethora of choices also.

The 5.3 has the same stroke as ls1 just a smaller bore but luckily they have thick liners that can be bored unlike ls1. Good luck If you wanted actual 5.3 pistons you would probably have to go custom made to really get what you want, but they may be out there, but with this wonderful option there is no need to spend all that money, by then you could be bored out and ready to rock already with some forged ls1 pistons. Its a great upgrade. I'm gona start getting more 5.3 and turning them into 5.7 cause you can get them cheap and they are stronger than the ls1 just like 6.0 is. From there you could even make them stroker if you wanted and have plenty of C.I.
