When To change Amsoil?
I use amsoil in my LS1 with an amsoil filter. Its not my daily driver and I live in Buffalo, NY so needless to say I don't put a lot of miles on the car anymore. How often would you guys change the oil, I only put about 1000-1500 miles per season. Is the oil fine sitting all winter? What would you al recommend?

Once a year is still not a bad idea. Our car might see 1,500 to 2,000 miles in a year and that's what I do.

Not sure which line of Amsoil you used, but they have formulations available that are designed to sit in the crankcase for long periods of time, for up to 1 year at least.
I go 1 year on my cars that are seldom driven, usually 2-3,000 miles during that time period. I would even stretch the mileage further but given the year long time period I go ahead and change it.
If you want to know for certain how it's doing, you could always send in an oil sample to Amsoil and they'll tell you exactly how the oil is doing and give you an estimate on how much longer it's safe to run while still providing protection. Good piece of mind. After that you can stick to that routine and not worry about it.

Same as others - once a year and I also put around 1,500 miles on mine yearly. I typically change the oil in the spring before I start driving it again for the new season.
Remember to check your oil level regularly, regardless of the miles you put on it. Strange things happen sometimes and it's always a good practice on any vehicle.
