    Well for an M6, already with LT's/LS6 intake, can the MS3 be used without any head work?

    I want to get the Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads and a MS3, but it'll be awhile before I could get the heads, so I'd like to have the cam now to get some of the power and of course the lope

    Is the MS3 too much for stock heads?

    You will need to check your springs not your valves. But I would say depending on what lift the springs are rated at you would probably want to check them anywhere from 20-40k miles. 40 is kinda high but that would be the longest you would want to go without checking them.
