whats the difference between these two cams?

(224/224 545ex 545in 114 lsa) (224/224 581ex 581in 114 lsa) does it make a diffrence in performance? Any suggestions and help will be appriciated

I'd get the 581 lift.

very little difference. the more the lift, the more air/fuel that can get in.

the 581 will make some more power

maybe 10hp, if you are lucky. the ramp rate is slightly quicker to achieve the higher lift.

Probably somewhere in the ballpark of 25 - 30 rwhp with a good tune.

Avoid the SLP oil pump. It is about $40 too much...and they don't cover their product.

I would also recommend an LS2 chain as an upgrade rather than the double roller. Double roller is bigger (obviously) and can sometimes create issues with fitment.
