whats the difference between these two cams?
(224/224 545ex 545in 114 lsa) (224/224 581ex 581in 114 lsa) does it make a diffrence in performance? Any suggestions and help will be appriciated

I'd get the 581 lift.

very little difference. the more the lift, the more air/fuel that can get in.

maybe 10hp, if you are lucky. the ramp rate is slightly quicker to achieve the higher lift.

what type of gains do you think i will make with the 224/224 545 in 545ex 114 with pushrods slp high flow oil pump slp double roller timing chain ls7 lifters rev dual valve springs .650 max lift

Probably somewhere in the ballpark of 25 - 30 rwhp with a good tune.
2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

go with hight lift
i`ll go with 581 but make sure to have dual valve springs
