What is your idle?
I am curious i have seen threads where people were talking about their car idling at low rpms after different mod installs? So now I am wondering what rpm should our cars be idling at?
1999 T/A WS6 Black -------SOLD

DOB manifold, m122 SC, 47lb injectors, gt500 TB, roush TVS CAI, Detroit rocker SC grind camshafts, Mac LTs, off road x, roush off road mufflers, roush short throw shifter, kenne bell BAP, Brenspeed 93 octane tune. 479rwhp 436ftlbs SAE.

My LS2 GTO idles at about 650rpm in gear.

Stock idle on my 1999 WS.6 was 800 RPM's when warm.
Up to 925 RPM's now.2008 Trailblazer SS
Yank PTB3600, Kooks 1 7/8" LT's, 4" intake, E-fans, Magnaflow, Sonnax kit, tranny cooler, tune.
Lowered, HID's, tinted.
1999 Pontiac Trans Am WS.6 #1747 SOLD
531.1 RWHP 481.3 FT/Pounds all motor.

hmmm......mine is idling around 500-600 warm, is that low?

Yes.
Depends on the cam, the tune, the cubes, etc...
The cam itself won't change the idle, you have to have it changed.

oic you change it to meet your needs...or should i say your cars needs, you would change it to keep it from stumbling and what not correct?

~800 after the cam. It can go lower but it gets pretty rough that even I don't like it.

Gear mines about 500... a little higher for park.. a4 here as well.. stock... but already have a shiftkit, 3600 stall, and DRs on the way... headers, cam, sfcs, stb, and true duals once I figure out what I want..
