what heads/intake do i have right now?

I am wondering which heads and intake i have right now. The head says 241 in stamping on the passenger side at the front of the head. The intake i have no ideas on. This is an o1 ws6. I had it dynotested when i first got it and it came back w 324hp and 338 ftlbs of torque@ the rear wheels. This is as far as i know stock. It had a k n filter in it and factory exhaust. I wonder if i already have ls6 heads and intake? I want to reach about 400 horse and i am good. Can i do that with the heads i have, add a cam and a fast intake? I already did the slp catback and cut out the airbox.

its all stock. 243's are ls6 heads. the ls6 intake is standard on 01-02 ls1 f-bodies. 243 heads ported and polished will outflow the 241's all day long ported or not. but the stockers once ported will be plenty for your application. stock ported heads, a 228r from tsp, fast 92/92 combo will net you that 400whp. finish up the bolt ons before you jump straight into the heads/cam. just to make sure the car can breathe. the fast combo may not be necessary for your goal.

You have stock LS1 heads. You have an LS6 intake, all 01/02 fbodies came with the LS6 intake. Is your car auto or manual? If you are manual, its possible to reach 400 RWHP with those heads, with a big enough cam, upgraded intake and a good tune. If you are an auto, its gonna be pretty hard to reach 400 RWHP with those heads.

I've got 391rwhp thru an auto w/ my cam only setup and 853 heads so it's definitely feasible.

I can't remember the name of the shop, but they are in Tucson on speedway just about wilmot. Are those out of the ordinary numbers for a stock m6?

When you say bolt ons, you mean headers and cat delete? Cause i have to pass emissions. They do the obd2 test in AZ.

The "El Torro" 230/230 cam and it was w/ a yank 3600 stall and strange 12 bolt w/ 3:73s but I have a yank pt 4000 so I guess it could be a little different now.

Not sure about that, the guy over on tech that has the same cam was putting down like 420rwhp (through an auto) and his 10 sec cam only passes clearly show it's not a dyno queen.

upgrade the intake(air box/cold air and if you want fast throttle body and intake) and exhaust(headers, ypipe/xpipe, catback). deleting emissions is up to you. i dumped them and they cleaned up the engine bay alot. i have empty cats and o2 sims for the rear o2 sensors. a tuner will be able to get you to pass your emissions if you choose to delete.

YOU ran a 11.8 @ 114. That's on par for a 350-360rwhp auto car. Full weight with the same converter as you I went 119mph with 380rwhp.

Whose dyno did you have your car on? And was the converter locked?

Good for you man, what are you mods? It was a dynojet and no the converter wasn't locked up.
