Lift has virtually nothing to do with PTV clearance since max lift occurs while the piston is near bottom dead center (BDC).
Duration is the biggest factor. The longer a valve stays open the closer the piston approaches. LSA and timing advance will also affect ptv to a much lesser extent.

ok so i made up my mind on what im going with and im going with the thouqer2 from texas speed. im geting the kit with the prc srings and push rods. also one of there singal chanes and a ported oil pump. my tb is with mark geting ported and im giting a under drive pully for a member on this site. so it should run good come next year.
