Want to install l92/l76. But have questions about the block
Im wanting to build a 400 inch stroker with the L92 heads and intake. Problem is the ls1 block doesnt have a big enough bore. So what would be the best way to go? The lq9 block? re sleeving the ls1? (dont know how much that would cost if its even worth it... compared to a new block). Trying to save as much money as possible or at least get the best value.
I know the ls2 is another option but ive heard the knock sensors wont work with the ls1, dont know how big of a deal that is but id kinda like that safety there...

i went with a lq9 iron block. http://www.stealthram.com/408.htm resleeving the LS1 will be costly to resleeve.
LS2 block relocated the knock sensors and cam sensor. just a matter of getting the wiring kits.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers
