    Valvetrain Upgrade

I bought a Cam Kit from a member on Tech...it includes a cam shaft, springs and pushrods. I was wondering if I needed to buy retainers, locks and seats, or not?

I would look for titanium locks & retainers because they're light weight for less chance of valve floating. The stock ones will work, but I wouldn't go that route.

I'd switch everything over to titanium it’s a cheap insurance policy against floating a valve.

Most kits come with titanium retainers, I'm surprised your's didn't. May I ask where you got it?

My thoughts:Get the titanium retainers, they won't break your wallet, the potential things that could happen out of a lack of titanium retainers will however.
