valve noise
i have just done a cam install and have also had my heads ported and played with with comp 918 springs installed. the engine has a ticking noise evident but with a stetoscope i can pinpoint it from both the inlet manifold and exhaust manifold which leads me to believe it is just the noise generated by the valve hitting the valve seat. Is this sort of noise normal with heavy duty springs or is it something to be concerned about. The cam is a 232/233 @112lsa

well....just to let u know ls1's modded with valve springs have allot of noise.....Mine has tons of ticks and all kinds of crazy shit.....its loud as shit......It jsut comes with the territory
