What intake are you going with? Who makes that cam, and what are the specs? As cast heads or ported?

The cam is a 228/232 .600 111 LSA from New Era Performance (they have it made by someone else).

I have an LS6 intake. Not sure about the "cast or ported" part of your question.

Also, what head gaskets are you going with?
Have you thought about the other gaskets you will need? Bolts?
When I did my H/C/I Swap, I used this....had everything I needed, and I would suggest ARP bolts. I know you're not PLANNING on taking stuff back off, but you never know.
Also, when I did my swap, my Double Roller Timing Chain (Rollmaster) prevented my UD Pulley from going all the way on. I had to get .300" machined off in order to make it fit. Cost me about $10 at a local machine shop.
Last thing...be careful when putting the oil pickup tube back into the oil pump. Two common problems could happen...one, you could put it in crooked, resulting you having no oil pressure on startup and you would have to take the front off again to fix it. Second, don't drop the bolt into the oil pan...I did it twice and have to go fishing with a magnet.
Last Last thing...grab some red locktite from Autozone and use it on everybolt...prevents them from vibrating out.
