    tr224 112lsa vs. 230/236 .612"/.607" 111lsa+

I have tsp stage 2.5 5.3 heads, ported fast 90/90 ans a tr224 cam112lsa in an A4. I was wondering how the 230/236 .612/.607 111lsa+2 would compare to the 224 cam.I wanted a cam that would give 15-20rwhp over what i have now,and not be soo peaky like an ms3. I will add a 100 shot to it,and i know it work well, but want to know how it will do N/A compared to the 224.So what are your thoughts on poewr range, driveability.Should i just stick with what i have?
    thanks
    john

    i have a Comp 224 .581 @112lsa and have a TSP 231/237 .598/.595 @112+2lsa i plan to put in after i max out my 224...

what are your current numbers, and what other mods do you have (btw, i have heads and a ported 90/90 as well)...?

Hey SSwt00SS. You wouldn't happen to have a cam card for your TSP 231/237 cam, would you? I have the same cam I am planning to put in but no card. TSP quite making it about 3 yrs ago and said they couldn't get me one. The guys in their shop said they like this cam though...thats what I like to hear. Thanks for your time

How is rear holding up,or has it been replaced with a 9in or 12 bolt?
Lemme know what you put down with your new cam.I dont have mine yet,but when i get it in I'll post what it does. Hopefully someone here that has had a 224cam and has stepped up to a similar size cam can give some feedback

still have the stock rear and 3.42's. its holding up very well, as its only had 7 track passes and only 42k on the car. once it gives out i plan to step up to a 9" since i have an M6. she is ment to be more of a street car, she doesnt see track abuse but maybe 2 times a year...

well, ive been sitting on the TSP 231/237 since i picked it up in Feb of this year. and it still might be a while before i decide to put it in. i want to see how much i can get out of the 224 before stepping up...

i will keep you informed of my build up, and wish you the beston yours!

the best i can give you are the specs for the cam. typically the TSP 231/237 was on a 112lsa+2...you install the cam straight up dot to dot...specs are as follows:

    231/237 .598/.595 @112+2lsa
