Torquer: V2 or V3?
Anyone know the difference in these cams other than the numbers? The V3 has a higher lift. The durations are close but the lifts are very different. From a performance aspect, which would be better? Just trying to find a cam that will like my 4.10 rear. The advertised powerbands are slightly different too.

I would think an MS3/4 would like the 4.10's better than the torquer...but just my opinion

im running the v2 with prc stage 2.5, ls 6 intake and bolt ons. i put down 428rwhp 400tq. no worries about piston to valve clearance with the v2. the ms3 clears but id try not to miss many shifts. with the 3.42s i got 23mpg on a trip great tune by carteck in north jerzy!

i ordered the whole top end from tsp. their customer service is great. just tell them what your looking to do and they can figure it out. i think 7.4, i built it feb 09. id have to look at my receipts. but you want to do an oil pump and lifters ect., but call them to get better answers. heres tsp cams link http://texas-speed.com/shop/category...MID=1&catid=44

I went with a torquer 2 cam in my 6.0 because I was told the t2 is better for street use. I have stock 317 heads with a good valve job, 3600 stall and all boltons. My engine builder said my car should put down 400 RWHP when it is dyno-tuned. I'm pretty sure I have 7.4 pushrods, but I'd have to check my paperwork to make sure.

he is right about this, the T3 i have in my car while it is street-able if i don't let my car run for about 2 min before i start driving it, it doesn't like to run. i have a good dyno tune for my car but had to take it back once i believe because it was stalling. it still stalls if its really cold out (here in Michigan it will get 14 at night with no snow so i still drive it). this can get kind of annoying and to be honest I'm only putting down about 425. if i get heads i think it will increase quite a bit, but if they are getting the same number and it is easier to tune why not go that route.
