    Thumpr cam is in!

Just got my thumpr cam install done on my 04 sierra with a 5.3. Along with beehive springs, pushrods, pacesetter LTs, and cold air intake. I havent got it tuned yet, and im about to. My question is i kinda have to drive it for a couple weeks before i get the tune done, will it hurt the motor at all driving it without the tune?

I'm not familiar with that cam, but no, if it isn't too aggressive you can drive it. If it is a big cam, the only damage will be to your ego as the truck stalls all the time.

Hahaha ok thanks man. Yeah it doesnt idle at all. I have to manually down shift all the time and ride the brake and give it some gas so it doesnt stall. Hopefully next week ill be getting it tuned.

Your drivability is going to be crap until you tell your PCM what you have done to your car. I would check your plugs after the tune is done.
