F1 is loud at idle, sounds awesome, like a jet Good friend of mine has an F1 on his firehawk.
MMMM i like a jet sound lol... I dunno i mean 700-800 is good and will get me into the 9s pleanty fine but if i could throw more through the car with out too much more of a price... The specs i posted on the F1 and D1SC heads are some what similar but obviously the F1 produces more power....

How loud would you say the F1 is at idle? And compared to the D1SC?

    UPDATE!!!

Now i've decided to go with the LQ9 408 iron short block from texas-speed.... Now if anyone goes on there site and sees the link for it it starts at $3499 with the basics nothing outta control but i wanna know what i need to have a good engine cuz i seriously doubt the eagle crank will hold up to what im gunna run through the block.... The 408 can be found here http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...id=46&catid=28

Keep in mind that i want LOW COMPRESSION so i can blow it later on so i should need -38cc pistons to keep the CR low and allow for FI or will -28cc be good enough?

But i wanna know what is the best Crankshaft, Rods, Studs and Pistons i can get without blowing an arm and a leg???

And would it also be cheaper to buy the LQ9 bare unassembled and then just buy the stroker kit for it? If so where could i find a bare LQ9??

ridiculous, some kid around here is running an F1 on a 69Z with a big block and all you can pretty much here at idle is the SC unit.
