Texas Speed Comp Cam 224/227 question.

Hey guys hoping for a little help and input on my situation.

Let me start by saying i curently already have a comp cam xr269hr-14 269/273.

my friend has a texas speed 224/227 cam for sale, its brand new. and he has a set of beehive springs also brand new.

he wants to sell me his cam and springs for a very good price. My question is which cam would be better for my car?

its a 2000 trans am the mods i plan to do so you have the full idea is:
    pacesetter 1 3/4 headers
    SLP y pipe
    no cats
    LS6 intake
LM1 or LM2 cat back (still not sure)
And a frost mail order tune.

Can i use his Beehive springs with both cams Safely! i dont want it to be like...ehh you could use them springs but might have trouble later....i want which ever springs and rods i use to be 100% safe for my car for a long time!
So if any of you guys could share a little knowledge and give me your opinion, i appreciate all the help.

looked up some specs on the 224/227 and i think it would work really well for a daily driven ls1 car.. im guessing urs is a m6 car?
