Thats what they used on their shop car to set the stock bottom end record at the LSX shootout in Memphis. So I wouldn't throw rocks at it.

well consider this stock LS1 heads flow 243 intake at .600 and right around 182-194 exhaust.
stock ls6 heads flow 278 intake at .600 and between 208 and 222 exhaust
now mind you this is on bare heads, numbers will change with porting.
    Example:

ported LS1 heads with a stock ls intake are 258 intake at .600 and around 193-206 exhaust

now those same heads with an LS6 intake are 283 intake at .600 and around 212-226 exhaust

ported LS6 heads with an LS1 intake are 268 intake at .600 and around 201-214 exhaust

now those heads with LS6 intake are 289 intake at .600 and around 216-231 exhaust

for a good power producing head you exhaust cfm will be between 75-80% of the intake cfm those heads you are asking about are at 75% exhaust flow.
once again these numbers will change depending greatly on what intake you run whether or not those flow numbers they have listed are on a bare head or tested with an intake and if so which one LS1, LS6, Edelbrock, F.A.S.T etc. Hope this helps a little.

different shops flow heads differently.some use a pipe on the exhaust ,some don't.are the TSP 215 cnc heads stock gm casting? or are they cast for TSP?

TSP 215s are not factory castings and flow alot better than the heads I have on my car. They are like the top of the line, top dollar AFRs and Trickflows for people trying to squeeze out the last little bit of hp possible. However I do like my TSP heads. But the old saying is true You get what you pay for!

    My heads flow

    TSP LS6 2.5 CNCED PRCs

    LIFT INT EX
    .200 147 114
    .300 209 152
    .400 258 191
    .500 294 207
    .600 316 226

and the 215s flow way better than mine.
