alright guys i thinking of doing some major motor work. at first i was going to get a lq9 block and stroke it out. but it seams the most you can stroke it is to 408 so i scraped that idea and decided to stroke my ls1 block to a 383 and then i found this http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=12427R58 and i am confused can you stroke a ls1 to 427?

Ya i have heard some bad things about the SLP motors. i know the other stuff SLP makes is garbage (from personal use) so i would imagine that their motors arent much better. why is 408 "to small"? 19 cubes isnt that big of a deal. i would also think that making a LS1 that big would be pushing it. what are you plans? turbo? N20?, N/A?

That kit you have linked isn't for the LS1.

That kit is for a 4.125 inch bore.
