I'm in Atlanta. Dead smack in the center. Little over 2 hours from Indy.

If you want reliability, go with a 6.0 iron block. 4" crank 4" stroke. with heads cam and intake, with good tune you will easily put down 500whp. check out my mods.
00 ss camaro, 6.0 liter iron block, 4" callies crank, 4" Mahle pistons, Howards rods, Comp cam .598/.598, ported polished heads, Fast 90mm intake and tb flp headers and y pipe, lingenfelter muffler and tips, Maf, injectors, frame connectors.

I always figured I would do iron block as I stated before, my buddy is on a tight budget and was wanting to use his LS1, i tried to tell him it would be expensive either way and I would just save up for the iron block and go the long route for reliability.

I have a 383 that I replaced my heads/cam motor with. RWHP is only up 20ish, but the curve takes a dive early. My LS6 intake/78mm TB is really holding me back. The torque curve is awesome...over 400RWlbs from 3250rpm on up!
