    With my transmission I went with a built th400. Do it right the first time and get a th400 or th350 with a reverse valve body!!!!!!!!!! I have friends that have attempted to beef up 4l60es and it dosent work. I love my th400.

    as long as you dont mind not having o/d, thats a good option, but i've seen many people with 4160e's built up and have no problems, and they put down some big numbers. Either way it'll prolly end up costing the same amount

    stroke man all the way. Not to discredit SLP because I know there are alot of loyal customers, but I think that they are overpriced and their parts aren't always the best performing. Just go 383 or I think you can go to 390ish on the stock block not sure though.

    Many including myself are putting over 650RWHP through a modded 4L60E with no problems...and have OD on the highway for cruising....
