    well I might just phone up AFR and ask them about that cam they recommend that split cam. Any good guys to contact?

    Ask for Tony "the man" himself but anybody there can tell what cam works good with their heads. Search the GMHP archives and there is a big write up on these heads put on Tony's 383 in his Vette.

    well Tony suggested there run of the mill cam to heads match combo and suggested the 224/228 .581/.588 114LSA... which sounds perfect for me thats a little bit higher lift then I was willing to go but I mean as long as it drives good who cares...

    so now heres the question I've only been in one cammed car and it was a TR224... how much different will this cam drive to the 224? if any?

    thanks guys...

    *keep in mind I'm quite picky and I'm looking for very comfortable driving conditions...

    Hey Dan, if you are referring to CK's camaro, this cam will be a tad milder. His overlap with the tr224 112 is 0 while the AFR 224/228 114 is -2. So, technically the AFR cam should drive a little better and idle a little better as well if all else is equal.
