Seems like you got everything to make a reliable build with a decent pick up.......in the front only though.

That stock 10 bolt rear will go. I would definately add a new beefier rear of your choice to the build.

    This ^^^

    And I would probably get the Texas-Speed 224R cam (224/244 .581/.581) and a Stage 3 Clutch.

    I suggest

Stock weight flywheel over the lightweight one, too easy to stall and bog with the light ones.
New timing chain (LS2 chain or full timing set if you like)
    Consider a larger cam possibly

I have look at this for a cheap fix until I do replace the rear end...which unfortunately may come quicker than expected. Does this really add any strength?

Thanks, Will consider replaced stock weight on FW. Didn't list it, but got a new LS2 chainset purchased already. Cams already bought.

    Here's the deal I got....

    LS6 intake with Ported TB
    Ported LS heads
    TR 224/224- 112 cam
    Ported LS6 oil pump
    Pacesetters LT's ceramic
    Comp rods
    LS2 chain set- New
    Comp springs/titan. retainers

All this came off of a 2002 SS with around 50K, with about 30K on these parts. So couldn't be to choosy on the sizes of things.

    $1300.00 ( DEAL? ) I Think SO.......

Not a bad deal at all. Do you know what kind of power the donor car made?

I think he dynoed around 410 RWHP. Naturally there is a difference between the SS and TA. I'm still running stock gears 3.42, to a 4.56, with a stock rear end, to his 9" ford. I think he said his best was around 11.4 with speeds in the low 120's ?
