SLP has had some serious quality issues as of late and are not standing behind obvious defects in materials or workmanship.... I highly recommend www.nelsonperformance.com for your Stroker motor...same money as SLP but miles ahead in quality build and only the finest parts.

Good luck with that. No power adder and 600 hp and a "driver" as in "daily driver"? Lol, I want the same thing!

    Do able.
Won't be the best daily driver though.

Mine makes 600+ crank all motor, but I wouldn't want to drive it everyday to work and such. But it is very streetable.

Sarge knows his shit, so I wouldn't doubt his builder at all.
Mine was a Texas Speed build.

I concur. 600 hp is doable, streetable is doable, but 600 all motor is, at best, questionable. Now 600 hp with a power adder is not only doable, but reasonable, as well.

    ok......there's one...

but take a look at the specs on the world products block.....the motor you listed is a regular LS1 block that has been pushed to 455 ci.....impressive yes....but we both know that it's pushed way past it's limit.....world products really did their homework on this one......you can get 454 ci and not worry about much from it......they have extra cylinder head bolts in case you want better protection when you throw the boost to it, thicker cylinder walls, better cooling capabilities......check it out and tell me what you think......I wish to god they had it out before I bought the motor I have now.....

I will agree with you the Warhawk block is awesome! I just don't like how thin the cylinder walls are on it thou. It's to risky for that 454 block! I do however had heard good things about Motown blocks.

Sarge ! That 455 you posted made me feel at ease. Thicker walls.

I did read the article in GMHTP, and talked to them about some ideas for my ls2. I think I am going to go with Nelson this time, and do it right.
