should i use the cam from my old engine?

i have what i think is a 224 224 114lsa cam in my old ls1... i got it off ebay, and what not and i blew that engine up (not sure what i did yet i have yet to disect it)

should i use that cam (if it isn't damaged) in my LS6? how much of a gain (with a tune of course) should i expect from that in my LS6?

so long as it's no damaged, sure. i'd say maybe 10-15 rwhp going to a LS6 heads and intake versus the LS1 heads and intake.
