I used half in the oil resorvoir and the other half through the brake boost line. Broke the second half up into 1/3rd's and did a third at a time making sure not to choke out the engine. The last third I chugged in and killed the motor. Then let it sit before restarting. It takes a minute to start up after it's been sitting, but it will, then you go take it for a drive and get the rpms up some.

Also did about a half can of Deep creep in past the throttle body.

ok so I put half in the oil, then tried to suck the rest though the boost line I stalled it in the middle on accident started it back up and continued. let sit for 20mins then I had to move my car started it up there was a decent amount smoking already. THen my ex shows up and we start fighting I turned off the car she leaves about 40mins later. I start the car up nothing drove it hard nothing, car has 140xxx miles so there should be plenty to smoke. Maybe I didn't feed it through the line right anyone wanna walk me through how to feed it through the line. If your looking at the car from the front I used the lower left line couldn't really see how to get it off on the far side so I dumped alittle into the house then stuck it up to the hole. Probably not the best was to do it. So if I could get some advise. Also can I run some more seafoam through I havn't changed the oil yet just want to feed some through the line and see if I can get her to smoke right then change it I've already drivin around with it in there enough.

Didnt see any smoke with mine. I seafoamed mine around 145XXX. I guess that means less carbon. Use only Shell, Chevron or BP Gas though

I want to try this again I'm pretty sure you can't mess up on puring it into the oil so I must have done something wrong when I fed it through the line anyone wanna walk me through this again. Actually really I just need to see what hose i'm suppose to be using and where to disconnect it from just to make sure.

I will say...I don't use as much as you did. 1/3 can in the oil and a 1/3 of a can into the fuel a week before changing the oil. I fill up as soon as I put the seafoam in the fuel.
After a week of driving around on the oil with the seafoam in it...I run the last 1/3 of a can through the brake booster. Let it sit overnight. Drive it HARD the next morning.

As soon as it quits smoking...I change the oil.
    All done.
It doesnt hurt for the seafoam to sit in the motor overnight? My SS has 113K on it and im thinking of doing it this weekend. I need an oil change NOW, so do I have to drive it for the 100-200 miles to get the full effect??

    Never had any problems.

Also, the smoke is the seafoam burning off. Not the carbon burning off.

Don't use too much. 1/3 of the can for each of the following is MORE than enough; crankcase, fuel, brake booster.

Sounds good. But what about the 100-200 mile drive? That need to be done with it in the oil?

I ran it through the brake booster line and the oil. Used half a can in each. Then used a full can in the gas tank... yeah its overkill.

but if you have seen a 132xxx mile car with stock plugs and wires/coolant with walmart oil changes done every time you would shit bricks.. You can eat off the bastard now. Inside and out.

I like to put 150-200 miles on the car with seafoam in the oil.
That is why I put the 1/3 can into the oil a week before the oil change and a week before sucking it up the brake booster. The fuel tank doesn't much matter.

Did the seafoam treatment today, and WOW that was some major nasty toxic smoke! The writeup on tech is very useful as a how to.

Car runs GREAT now, immediate difference on my 94K motor.

i seafoamed the lt1 when i got it and smoke bellowed out of it for a while when i ran it highly concentrated in the gas. it was even worse when i put it in through the brake booster. i knew it was good for it, but still it was cool. when i was driving down the road it smoked a ton with it. lol. it was great afterward though. felt a ton beter.

Bought two cans today and deep creep. Going in my 92 Corsica with 140XXX miles. Damn thing gets in between 25.7 and 30.3 mpg so it must be in decent shape. I will be doing this wednsday and will write back. SS will be getting it in about 2 to 3 weeks. I want to test with the DD before my beast.

I still havent tried this on my truck either. Its got over 250xxx on the engine and when i changed out some chrome valve covers it looked horrible. You can scrap it off in big chunks.
