a stock ls1 does not have roller rockers right? if so what are a good set to get and/or are they a good buy, any power increase like they claim?

found this site, seems like a good idea if they are what they claim, the only thing fishy about this is that the dyno graph looks like a third grader drew it out and it shows that the ls1 motor makes more power at 6,000 rather than 5,000, on my dyno sheet hp dropped after about 5,600?

stock ls1 rockers have a roller trunion, but no roller tip. also, ls1 motors peak around 5900-6100 rpms.

the crane rockers work as claimed. had them on the wife's car.

vinci high performance did the work on the street shark car. here's their original pages on it:

here's the dyno sheet from the wife's car back when i put the crane 1.8 quick lift rockers on with a stock cam and stock tune.

i did a search and found you in another tread discussing this and the power dip in the dyno graph, i think the tread was in 2005 and was on a different site like camaroz28.com or ls1tech,

anyway did you replace your stock valve springs like they recommend and did you really find out what the power dip is?

i put the crane 832 springs in at the same time as the rockers. the power dip is nothing more than tuning. remember, that was on stock tune as well.

Crane has a new beehive valve spring for the LS1 that will control the rockers quite well. This spring is made by PAC and should be an excellent valve spring.
