You do not need upgraded rockers no how. Those stockers are very good and many people use them in high horsepower engines. Save your money and put it towards something else.

stockers are fine, Cranes are by far one of the best. Harland Sharp's, I ran them once, I'll never run them again. They use crappy snap rings on the fulcrum of the rocker that snapped off and took a travel down to my oil pan.

I have heard that the crane cams Gold Race Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms are the best, and add an easy 20hp, but for the near $800 sticker I would agree with everybody else on this one and keep the stockers. unless u have money to burn, but I'd rather you donate that to me

+1 for crane gold race rockers. 0.635 lift with crane gold duals and no valve train stability issues up till rev limit of 7200.

i did have 1.85 rockers. gave me 10 rwhp and like 16 rwtq.
then i did a cam and they had to go bye bye.
cam kit installed and tune=1400
rocker arms installed no tune=750.
for 10 hp, 750 is alot
cam and tuning game me 39 hp
rocker arms are a waste is my point i make nowadays.

Cranes here as well, have used both the 1.8's and the 1.7's
Read David Vizard's article on Popular Hot Rodding, you might find even though everyone runs the stocks, there are issues. Also, from what I found, the wipe pattern on the stocks not only sucks, but adjustment is difficult requiring shimming.
