    Replacing Lifters

    Has anyone been able to remove the heads on their ls1 without having to drop the engine and pull it out? The heads look like they sit pretty far back and I'm not sure if there is enough clearance to pull it.

    Oh Ya, They will come out !!! My advise is to remove the radiator / condenser / fan assembly so you can stand in front of the motor. Really not as bad as it sounds ! LOL !!!
