So what all had you done before the heads to get 411? Im asking, cause I didn't think these engines would make that kind of hp without heads.

I am trying to figure out if a cam/intake would get me in the 400 range without having to do heads yet.??

excellent write up!!! good results, but the gains i really thought and felt would have been more, esp., with the TQ...

what size are your valves, 'cc' size...?

also, one recommendation: ditch that Ls6/PTB and get you a FAST 90/90 and see what your numbers should be...

I was expecting a little more in my torque number to. But I plan on doing the Fast 90/90 set up sometime and seeing where it goes from there. I have the 64CC Valves.

you have 64 cc 'combustion chambers'...

    valves meaning: 2.00"int/1.55"ext OR 2.02"int/1.57"ext...?

i would believe that if you picked up a FAST90 and ported it, you would be around my range (443rwhp/402rwtq) in numbers or even 450rwhp, as for rwtq, add between 8-12rwtq than what you have. when i switched from my LS6 intake/Ls1 TB to my port FAST 90 i gained 35rwhp/10rwtq. this is with a little 224/224 .581/.581 @112lsa cam...

personally i wouldnt waste the cash on an Ls6 intake speaking from personal experience. save up for a FAST90, port it prior to install and get heads installed at the same time...

hell before i went heads/cam i was sitting at 376/366 with LT's/ORY and catback, Comp 224 cam, SLP Lid and HP Tune (still with Ls1 intake/TB). thats enough right there to get you in the 12's easily all day long...

I understand on the intake thing. I know down the road I would want more.
Right now I am honestly just trying to get enough to spank a certain pony a buddy of mine just bought new. He said he already did the exhaust, cai, and a tune in a box. I just don't want to have to listen to him if he beats me with that damn mustang. So right now cam, intake, and tune are going to happen soon.
