looks good. Did you put a towel in the oil pan to prevent the oil tube bolt from rolling back if it fell? If you did, did you remember to pull the towel out? I only mention that because I forgot about the towel and fortunately remembered it later on and had to drop the pan again to get the towel out. Ever seen what happens when someone does that? The crank shreds it and you get that shit all throughout the engine. Not a good thing to have happen. Just a reminder if you used that method.
Also, take care putting the intake back in there. That damn booster hose is what breaks those oil senders.

No I didn't. I didn't open up the oil pan nor take off the oil tube bolt. Is this the one your talking about when you do a cam swap? I know I had the front cover off for that and had to watch it so I didn't drop it in the pan. I tied fishing wire around it then.

Yeah, that's the one. I'm kinda confused though, did you do an oil pump or not?

Well as of today its pretty much all done. Just have to finish putting the exhaust back together. Wanted to make sure I had no problems before putting the exhaust back on. I like how it sounds w/ open headers Only had 1 problem, I forgot to put the plug on the passenger side head so coolant was leaving all over at first. But I figured out what the problem was and its all good now! I'm glad this project is pretty much finally over, now I need the weather to get nice!

    Truly inspiring.
I've been researching the head, cam, oil pump, timing chain swap.

Have you been able to test drive yet ? If so, Can you feel a difference ?

No, It was 48* here in Chicago earlier and raining, but in a couple hours it got to the 20's I wont be able to take it out for a month or so I imagine. Also I have to set up at tune, I'm def. running rich it was making my eyes water in the garage After I drive it I will post back and let you know what I think. Also I will post up the before/after dyno numbers when I get them! Also finished it up today, exhaust is now complete!

burning eyes usually means lean. Glad you got her all buttoned up. Open headers is cool as hell huh? That's why I love my cutout so much.

Lean....Rich....whatever! I have a cutout waiting to go in, but I cant weld so I have to have a muffler shop put it in for me then I can finish up the wiring on it.

The tuner had the flu, I dropped off the car this morning though so hopefully he is back tomorrow. But they did do the bigger injectors and the cutout today. Hopefully I have results tomorrow, I'm anxious to. My last dyno before the heads was 411hp/386tq so we will see how it changes.

I dont have any sound clips...I will get some when it gets warmer. I went to the track last fall before my heads, so I was bolts ons + cam and I ran an 11.97 on drag radials.
