    proform rockers

Has anybody used proform bolt down roller rockers. I have some and have had several issues. 1. they hit the valve cover rail, 2. they hit the valve cover. 3. the stands are too tall and require longer pushrods. Just looking for feedback.

I am guessing this is on an LS1. I just bought a set for an LT1 hope to be bolting them on my LE2 heads before new years.

We tried a set and they wouldnt even bolt down because they were hitting the valve cover rail.

Do not use anything made by PROCRAP.

SBC roller tip rockers broke at the housing after 500mi, changed to comp roller tips and never another problem.

Also almost wiped my brand new 406 sbc build with a proform small cap dist. ran for 5sec and then seized tight, thankfully it didn't wipe the cam out...junk junk junk

Have not tried any LS1 Proform products -- their 2 piece timing cover I attempted to use for a SBC build was complete crap.

I installed a procomp gear drive on my old sbc I had and timing marks were not even close. There marks retarded my cam 9 degrees by setting there marks straight up. Also had a procomp tach once all of there stuff is junk.

Thanks to those who replied, I returned the rockers and received a refund so I was only out my return shipping. I am going back to the stock rockers.

I would stay away from anything with the Proform name on it. I have heard horror stories about the needle bearings falling out of their rockers and making their way down into the oil pan. It's not worth it to lose an engine because you purchased a cheap part.
