Pricing question
Just stopped at the local speed shop. To get a CAM, push rods, springs, install and dyno tuned he is asking about 3600 bucks. What have others paid and does this sound reasonable?

I thought that was kind of high. he wont even do the heads. He said he has tuned so many f bodies and heads do absolutly nothing. Maybe 5 - 10 Hp at best. he said in his mind he wont even sell it becuase he does not do that to customers. Still 3600 seems very high to me. Anyone else in around Pittsburgh get this done at a good place cheaper. I will travel a little bit if I have to. However I do want a good shop that will tune the car also.
Thanks,
Todd

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Parts are $1100 or so.
Good shop can have it done in a day.
$3600 is $2K too much.
