PRC 5.3l Stage 1.5 Heads VS. PRC LS6's

I was wondering what heads would go better with my combo, PRC's 5.3 Stage 1.5 heads or PRC's LS6 heads, they are only fifty dollars in difference. What heads will i see more rwhp along with good power throughout the entire rpm range?

Which ever heads flow the most is what I would look at. Sounds to me like you have enough mods to flow a lot through your heads.

Use the 5.3s if you wanna raise the compression.

Well can i use the 5.3's considering i can only get 91 octane out here and not 93 like you guys back east since the compression will go up.

Yeah i sent them an email, i might go with their 5.3L Stage 2.5 actually. They flow 312CFM at 600 on the intake side

Yeah hopefully i'll see 40 RWHP out of them, my tuner told me he's typically seeing about 40RWHP out of PRC LS6 heads on cars with full bolt ons and they flow about 307CFM at .600 lift. Flow wise they are almost identical.
