    Port and polish stock heads

is porting and polishing stock heads in ls1 worth the time and money? Also If i put an aggressive cam in can stock heads handle it?

i ported some ls1 heads for a CETA and the only other mod he did was a mild cam (already had an LS6 intake) and he dynoed at 381 to the wheels. i'd say it's worth it as long as you have someone who is very good at it ... and if you're doing it yourself, don't knife edge everything

    are you doing bigger valves?

well.. you tell me. should I.. i think an aggressive cam, port and polish heads with the fast 92/92 would be a good start.. what do you think about that combo

... you'd definitely be in good shape

what kind of cam? are you going to be doing bigger valves, tougher springs/locks/retainers, pushrods and lifters ... ? and will you be porting it or will someone else?

If you can do it yourself it's worth it, but it's not worth paying someone to do IMO. If you are going with an aggressive cam and spending the coin on a fast 92 setup get some good heads. Personally I would do heads before intake TB combo.

this... heads are the core of any cam set up... best bet is to make sure the heads are flowrated for the cam you choose...

    On your ass flashing
    my highbeams

People have made 440rwhp on stock heads, given they are big cams.
