    Talking Port and polish

This might be a stupid question, but can you use a dremel tool to port and polish heads/TB, etc....?

I wouldnt recommend it for heads. I used it on my t/b but you have to be careful not to take out too much. You can mess one up in a hurry. Heads there is no way I would attempt that. No way to tell if they are even. I would leave that to professionals.

I found that if you use a large sanding cylinder on a drill to port the throttle body, that worked better than anything i tried with the dremel. Only used three cylinders, probably could have gotten away with two though. Good luck.

I started off using a dremel tool on my throttle body and was taking for ever. I put a 80 grit sanding cylinder in my small drill press like "FuriousGeorge" and made short work of it. I went back to the dremel for fine tuning and polishing. Did the same on the MAF. I would recommend you take your heads to a machine shop. Good Luck
