Do it. No real gain in power, but you won't be coating your intake and runners in the head with half burnt oil

Catch can still sucks like the pcv, but the oil gets trapped in the cach can and just sucks clean air out of the crank case and back into the intake. Its a lot better than a pcv system

It will fix your oil consumption issue and clean up your engine bay a little
Gotta do a little cutting but its worth it imo

Nothing too crazy but i bet if you remove your throttle body there is oil coated inside your intake. An LS6 valley cover is pretty cheap. Matched up to a catch can and you'll be ahead of the game.

Thats still a positive crankcase ventilation system. You're still using engine vacuum to evacuate crankcase vapors, you're just using a catch can system in between to filter out liquid oil.

No PCV means there is no suction on the crankcase by the intake manifold. Crankcase vapors will not be evacuted, and the oil will get dirty extremely quickly. This is a very bad idea.

I have the LS6 style PCV system without a catch can, and I've been very happy with it. Damn near zero oil consumption, much cleaner look, and better crankcase ventilation.
