Patriot Cylinder Heads???

This is a discussion on Patriot Cylinder Heads??? within the Internal Engine forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; Yup^ I have had them for awhile....no problems....stiff little bastahds.....so yes....oil at op temps is a must.......

    My heads are 59cc they are the ls6 style with the welded up chambers, no dyno numbers, and I will see if I can find some sound clips. It does sound good, I would say go for it.

    Good to know. I don't even think about passing 2500 rpm on a cold engine now, so I don't have issue on a wait for the engine to reach temp. Thanks for the input.

    did youhave to flycut your pistons for clearance...? i called both Gunner and TSP and they said it would fit no flycutting needed. please let me know...thanks

    Check out the sponsor’s page, most offer a head and cam package. From my experience if you call them and tell them all the parts you want to order they normally will cut you a deal. Since you have a 98 I would highly recommend replacing your oil pump with a blue printed unit when you change the cam. 98s are known to have sudden oil pump failures. Also a LS6 or LSX intake and ARP stud or bolts would be good as well. I did my build sometime ago so I know the prices have dropped, so I can’t give you a real estimate of what price you are taking.
