Yes. LS6 is a better pump. I'd go ahead and spend the extra money on a ported LS6 pump.

STS system is junk. Do a search and youll find out just about everyone on here thinks it crap. The ls6 ported and shimmed usually go for around 160 I think.

Ok, first off, do you have any first hand experience with the STS system? I'd tend to think you don't. I haven't had not one problem with mine. Granted, I wouldn't buy it if I were in the market for a turbo kit, but its still a good kit. I'm not complaining considering it came with my car and I got it for a STEAL. It DOES have its downfalls, I'm not gonna deny that, but its not that bad really. Get a Mocal oil return pump, custom fab front mount intercooler, and T-bolt clamps throughout and you should be good.

if you read on here most people have issues with them. Considering it came out the car the issues were probably worked out. Just saying from what I have read on here and the archives and tech most people have issues. There is a local guy that has them on his SS and he has no issues with them.

Maybe thats what you should have said first instead of calling them junk. I'd definitely go with APS for the price, but they have there problems as well. Like I said, the STS has problems, but there not really a big deal and are usually easily remedied.
