its about 40-45$ at Napa, They didnt have it in stock when I went to Autozone so it may be a little cheaper there.

here is a pic for you. I will take one of it inside the car tomorrow if you want, i still have my manifold off for now. It is the little black thing sticking up in the back of the engine dead center between the heads.

actually I think it is just laying there.. it goes in the hole directly to the right of it. One connector and I believe a deepwell socket with remove it.

Well I got an oil change to 10w40 and the pressure seems to be reading ok. I will let you guys know if I have any other problems with it and then maybe you can let me know where to go from there! Thanks again, to everyone that helped me out! Chris

If that worked for you then expect to buy an oil pump one day. If the oil pump cant build pressure with the stock reccommended oil then eventually it wont be able to build any pressure. Keep an eye on it man.

The atmosphere did change dramatically from where I used to live and to where I live now. My engine is running a hell of a lot hotter then when I lived in illinois! You don't think that may have been the problem, you still think it is the oil pump?

No-I personally dont think its your oil pump.
Motor running hotter=thinner oil=less pressure. If the pressure gets below 20 pounds you should first replace the sending unit(probably the cause). If the sending unit doesnt solve it then its time for a new oil pump. If the new oil pump doesnt fix it then its probably a bearing problem(ex. main bearing)-you will usually hear this problem.

You're so smart because that is what my mechanic said he said, that if my oil pressure barely reads anything or below 20 then it's the pump, so we tried the oil first and that seems to be working.
