    oil pressure

    my 04 a4 goat has 75,000 miles on it now. at warm idle its holding a hair above 25 psi, 1,500 just under 50 psi and high rpms right at 75 psi.
    fresh oil, I just changed it last week 5w-30 Mobil 1 and Fram filter.

    does the pressure sound good, or is it on the low side?

    Get rid of that Fram filter asap. If you have seen one ripped apart, they are the biggest pieces of shit on the planet. They have cardboard in them which after having oil on it.....well you get the picture. And on the pressure question, the oil pressure seems good except for the idle. To me that seems a little low.

    Rule of thumb....10PSI for every 1K RPM. It sounds like you are fine.
