no oil in heads

This is a discussion on no oil in heads within the Internal Engine forums, part of the LSx Technical Help Section category; once i get the noise issue solved..... what do i need to bring it up to as far as rpm ...

    once i get the noise issue solved..... what do i need to bring it up to as far as rpm range and for how long etc etc

    just start it and let it run at idle which should be about 800-900 rpms for that motor until the valvetrain noise goes away. should take about 5 minutes for sure.
