New ls7 heads and intake are sick and cheap

Dude I couldn't believe the price and performance of the new ls7 style heads and intake. Gm is selling ls7 style heads that will bolt on to an ls2 or 6.0 cast iron block. They flow 332 cfm stock! and have like something ridiculus like 2.16 intake valves. They also offer the matching intake with 40 pound injectors 90 mm throttle body and fuel rails complete. I won't name any prices but they are very cheap and outperform many aftermarket setups. If no one buys my lq9 6.0 then I know what im going to get with a magic stick 4 cam. It's gonna be sick.

Well your not going to believe it but, in the new gm high tech they stated that gm is selling the new ls7 style heads complete and assembled for $375 a piece! I couldn't believe it and wondered if its a typo, but they said gm is trying to corner the head market and outdo all the aftermarket manufacturers.
But to my further astonishment gm high tech listed that the matching ls7 style intake complete with 40 pound injectors 90 mm throttle body and fuel rails is only like 450! I couldn't believe it man, you could pay that much for just an aftermarket throttlebody! Has anyone else seen this or heard about it, that seems to be the route to go if you have the ls2 or 6.0 truck block. I mean holy crap complete 332 cfm heads, intake, injectors and throttlebody for under 1200. These are the heads and intake off the new Z06. The Z06 guys are seeing north of 575 rwhp with a good cam headers and tune. Can you imagine a low buck build up on a 6.0 truck block, you could see 500 plus rwhp for cheap comparatively speaking.

oh cool guys so im not seeing things they really are that affordable. That seems like a really good deal and definately the way to go for people with the larger bore. They wont fit smaller bore ls1's becuase the valves are to big, but that sure would be a nice setup and won't kill the bank.

That's not so much flow considering the displacement of the motors you're talking about. Not impressed with the flow numbers, but the price IS cheap. With those low flow numbers, they'd have to be worked for optimal performance.

Dude 332 cfm is more flow than a lot of aftermarket heads. Plus the ls7 is 427 cubic inches we are talking about using them on a 6.0 ls2 or 6.0 lq9 truck block (364 cubic inches), those heads have madd flow. If those heads are making well over 600 horsepower on the 427 stroker with a good cam they must have good flow.

Clarification, the actual ls7 heads flow over 360 cfm and have 2.20 intake valves, but will only fit 4.125 bore where as the ls7 style heads that are referred to in this post that are selling for $375 each are called L92 and have 2.16 intake valves and flow 332 intake cfm and will fit 4.000 inch bore (6.0). They have the same large rectangal intake ports and similar design as the ls7 Z06 heads. These L92 heads are appearing on The 6.2 engine that is in the new tahoe and escalade. The stroke is the same in the 6.2 but it has a 4.006 bore. The new L92 6.2 is rated at 415 horsepower.

They are also selling the L92 crank for only $220 dollars and the cam for $99. Thats cheap considering an ls1 stock crank is over $600 and the cam is over $200. I thought that was pretty cool to top off the super good heads and intake price.
