    new lifters or stockers?

Hello everyone, I am about to install the trick flow 515hp top end kit for ls1 on my vette, my buddy tells me I should by the lunati high rev lifters for it so I can rev higher. What is everyones thoughts on this? I was wanting to reuse my stockers , is it really worth spending the $519 on them?

Get a set of GM performance LS7 lifters, they run about $120 for a set. The cam thats in the TF515 kit isnt going to turn enough rpm to need to spend that kind of money on lifters.

compare the stock lifters (place them side to side)to comp R's of the LS 7's and you will answer your own question, replace them

Those Lunati lifters are top of the line.
I spent the money, and I personally believe they are worth it.
They are made by Morel last I checked.

Although you will not want to rev any higher than your cam allows....

comp r's are so finicky for the correct preload you should really run adjustable rockers with them. By the time you drop that coin you may as well go Morels....

I have rebuilt mine and I am using the stock lifters. I need to see what the motor and valve train does before I spend 500 dollars. It shouldn`t be that difficult to replace them if I need better lifters. But I did spring for the Yella rockers. That should lighten the valve train up a little.
