    okay thanks yeaa this cam seems perfect for me how about a tune is it neccessary to get one asap after tha cam is installed? and also installation about how much am i looking at?

    Yes a tune for that cam is a must. Install prices can vary alot depending on your area. Think my shop down here was 1300 for everything including parts. RPM always cuts good deals though. My guess is for the install only around 800ish would be the norm.

    It is a debatable point, about how much the stockers flex, nor do I really want to see this topic completely derailed on the subject. Many people change and many people keep the same (like me car sees 6700 RPM fine), and the only disadvantage for hardened is they won't bend but push the valve into the piston instead. That only should happen if something like a really bad missing of gear.

    More importantly then stock vs hardened imho is to have the proper geometry. The easiest way to find out what you need is ask the person who sold you the cam, or measure when you do the install.
