currently in my 04 a4 GTO I'm running ported/ polished 241 heads, all bolt ons and a 220/224 .570/.580 112lsa cam.
I'm upgrading to a high volume oil pump and double roller chain.....at the same time swapping out for a larger 236/242 .580/.590 112 lsa.
transmission is allready built, also running a 3,800 stall
last time at the track was running 275/35/18 street tires witha best 1.9 60ft, then lose traction smoke the tires and have let off around 100-200 ft mark......even without traction best of 13.2 @ 108mph.
I have M/T slicks to take care of the traction problem now, but the track is closed til spring
ideas on power gains from the cam swap, and now that I have the tires, what times it should run?
me in the car it weighs in at 3,665lbs

I'd guess you gain 30 RWHP or so. You should run 11s if you hook, probably more benefit from traction than the cam swap. Gonna be much faster

I can't wait to try out the slicks ans actually hook good for once lol.
ok good, I wanted to be sure the cam swap would be noticible

Will be looking for new times when the track opens up. Should be right there in the 11's with a good hook off the line.
